Jane & John, AustraliaWhat a wonderful time we had in Trausse Minervois. The house was beautiful beyond our wildest dreams. The villagers were incredibly friendly, we had stunning weather, cycled, wine tasted, went sight seeing, relaxed and still felt that we only scratched the surface of what was on offer in the area.
Caroline & Mark, Shetland IslesWe have had a lovely two weeks together – good eating and drinking, and nights playing monopoly and more drinking! The books and DVDs were most welcome and well used.
Laura & John, UKTwo weeks have flown by and we really did not want to leave! The house and grounds have had a wonderfully relaxing effect on all of us. We found the village very welcoming and the surrounding area has lots to explore. The july 14th fireworks at were amazing!
Michael & Family (8 adults & 4 children), UKWe all loved your beautiful house and romantic grounds, we loved the pool the big kitchen and the snug, when the heat was unbearable for the kids. We ate in a lot, and had great monkfish, mackerel and langoustine from the Peyriac fish shop and wonderful fois gras from the van in the square.
Helen, Andrew, Emily & James, DubaiThank you so much for loaning us your wonderful home in this fantastic corner of France. Coming from Dubai, where nothing ever stops, its been a step back in time where people say ‘Bonjour’ to a complete stranger.
Tony & Margaret, UKWe had a wonderful holiday. the children loved the pool and our son learned to swim! The adults loved the big table – long evenings eating, drinking and talking. We were lucky enough to coincide with the cherry festival. The village restaurant was enjoyed too.

Languedoc-Roussillon
The Languedoc-Roussillon region is very beautiful with a a diversity of landscapes: sandy beaches along the Mediterranean sea, rivers, lakes, Canal du Midi, National Parks and wildlife reserves, vineyards and the Pyrenees Mountains to the south. Steeped in history, the Languedoc region is one of the most historically interesting regions in Europe from Cathar castles, to medieval abbeys, Pont du Gard and the historic fortified city of Carcassonne.
A Mediterranean pace of life and traditionally French, Languedoc villages are steeped in history and dominated by wine-making and you are likely to find a cave-cooperative in most villages you pass by.
